I've turned into a workaholic over the past few days. I'm reading voraciously and getting really, really ahead on things so I can focus entirely on my thesis. I like that I'm finally becoming competent, but I know I'm going to manage to run myself into the ground, and that's not good. I need to figure out how to balance it out.

Some schoolwork kept me away from the home opener today, which the Sox won 5-0 (which means the Tigers still haven't won a game yet...). Of course, it's not like it was bad schoolwork - it was some military history stuff.

I spent my Sunday doing homework and following playoffs I have no stake in. (Being raised in a baseball family will do that to you. The people in my immediate family do not follow any sports other than baseball - I am the only two-sport individual, my other love being any and all forms of auto racing.)
